Alan Grindal MD
Dr. Alan Grindal is a board certified Neurologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. He received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and his Medical degree from the University of Illinois. His Neurology training was received at the Medical College of Virginia where he also served on the medical faculty. Dr. Grindal was in private practice in Sarasota for nearly thirty years and is currently on the Clinical Faculty of Florida State University. He works with the Memory Disorder Clinic at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and is also a volunteer in the Community Clinic at the hospital. He often teaches classes at the Lifelong Learning Academy at the University of South Florida and Pierian Springs Academy. He was selected by his peers as one of the Best Doctors in America from 1997 to his retirement in 2004.
